Adam Lambert says he has “no beef” with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, despite the claim he was kicked off Lovato’s world tour.
As Gossip Cop reported, TMZ alleged on Friday that Lovato had “unceremoniously dumped” Lambert from her upcoming tour in favor of having Jonas as her opening act. The site had claimed that Lovato and Lambert’s camps had already reached a deal for the joint venture, and were to announce it last week. That all supposedly changed when Lovato’s manager, who also manages Jonas, allegedly “convinced” her to replace Lambert.
Lambert was said to be feeling “betrayed,” with TMZ citing a source as saying the move was “very unprofessional and unethical.” Gossip Cop reached out to all parties involved but did not hear back, which is why we rated the allegations a 5 on our rumor scale. Now both Lambert and Lovato are downplaying the report.
Lambert tweeted early Saturday morning, “Aww I love you all very much. No beef tween @ddlovato & @nickjonas and me. Biz negotiations are complex – why do we care about the #rumors?” Lovato responded hours later, “Just goes to show how accurate @TMZ really is… I [love] you @adamlambert.”
For his part, Jonas has not commented at all, though his most recent message on Twitter just so happens to be a Lovato retweet. TELL US: What do you think of the situation?
