Chris Brown did NOT do drugs at Tyga’s son’s birthday party, despite a malicious and baseless webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor. We’re told it’s “absurd and slanderous.”

Last week, Brown took his one-year-old daughter Royalty to a birthday party for Tyga’s three-year-old son Cairo. According to MediaTakeOut, the rapper went outside the party with his “homies” and proceeded to drink “lean,” otherwise known as “sizzurp,” which is slang for cocktail of soda mixed with codeine cough syrup.

The webloid’s supposed proof? Actually it has none. Instead, the blog published blurry, long-lens paparazzi photos showing Brown simply drinking from a cup, noting, “he has a DOUBLE CUP with a mystery liquid inside it.”

MediaFakeOut, as it is known, has published a number of falsehoods about Brown, and Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected the webloid. Gossip Cop has previously busted the site for wrongly claiming the singer was dating such celebrities as Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin. We’ve also debunked a slew of inaccurate reports that alleged Karrueche Tran was pregnant with Brown’s baby. Obviously, none of those stories panned out.

Regardless, Brown’s rep exclusively now tells Gossip Cop that MediaTakeOut “has a complete disregard for the truth,” and printed a story “full of assumptions and false accusations.” Brown’s spokesperson calls the claims “absurd and slanderous,”and adds, “To make the leap from Chris drinking from a cup at a party to Chris doing drugs in front of his daughter is tabloid journalism at its best… Chris is an exceptional father and this story is preposterous.”
