Daniel Craig has once again made controversial remarks while promoting his upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre. In a new interview, the actor expressed his opinion that the 007 agent is “actually a misogynist” who has “nothing” to teach audiences.

In an interview with the Red Bulletin, Craig was asked about Bond’s “way with the ladies,” to which the actor responded, “Let’s not forget that he’s actually a misogynist. A lot of women are drawn to him chiefly because he embodies
a certain kind of danger and never sticks around for too long.”

The reporter than questioned Craig about what the average person could “learn from James Bond that would help us in our day-to-day lives?” But after taking a brief moment to think it over, the actor responded, “Nothing.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Craig has been making a habit lately of displaying some disdain for his famous character. Earlier this month he told Time Out London, “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists” then return for another sequel. He added, “I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

Craig was less definitive about not reprising his role for another movie when Red Bulletin broached the subject. The actor told the website, “It’s always the same question: Which is worse, leaving the party too early, or staying… and then passing out on the floor?” He answered his own question, “I still don’t know. What I need right now is to stop working, relax and get back to normal life.”
