Christina Aguilera is NOT a “nightmare” behind-the-scenes of “The Voice,” despite a fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told there’s simply “no truth” to it.

According to OK!, the coach (during certain seasons) of the competition series has earned the title of “chief diva” for her allegedly outlandish behavior on set. The tabloid quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “She made outrageous food and scheduling demands and even had the upholstery on her chair customized to velvet.” The magazine’s alleged “insider” further claims Aguilera “forced everyone to come in super early… so she could wrap in time for a dinner date,” and then she “showed up an hour late.”

Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted OK! for similarly wrong accusations about Aguilera supposedly being “diva.” We previously corrected the tabloid’s ridiculous tale about the singer demanding police escorts every time she travels. (Ever notice how NO one else reported that?) More significantly, it’s doubtful the producers of “The Voice” would keep bringing Aguilera back, including for the upcoming season 10, if she were truly such a “nightmare,” as the tabloid alleges.

Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a source involved in the production on “The Voice,” and we’re exclusively assured there’s “no truth” to the magazine’s account of Aguilera’s alleged diva-like antics.
