Chills! John Travolta stepped up his acting game to play defense attorney Robert Shapiro, who successfully defended O.J. Simpson in his infamous 1995 murder trial. In a new teaser clip from the upcoming FX event series, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, Travolta, 61, flawlessly transforms into Shapiro.

“Anytime that I take on a new criminal case, I always ask the client a question,” he says to Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson (though we don’t see his face) in the teaser. “Now I won’t be judgmental.” The teaser cuts out before we can see what that question is.
