Liam Payne is apologizing for One Direction’s canceled concert, and revealing he is “feeling much better now.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Payne became “suddenly” sick on Tuesday, just before the group was to take the stage in Belfast for the “On The Road Again” tour. The show’s cancellation was announced at the last minute, after concertgoers had already arrived. It marked the first time One Direction had to make such an unfortunate move.

Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan all issued apologies on Twitter, and One Direction released its music video for “Perfect” a short time later, perhaps as a consolation offering. It wasn’t clear when or how Payne had fallen ill, but Gossip Cop confirmed rumors of a hospitalization with broken bones were untrue. Now, on Wednesday morning, he took to Twitter himself to speak out.

“I’m so sorry to everybody I disappointed last night. I’m feeling better now. I really hope everyone can make the rescheduled date on Friday,” he wrote, referring to the make-up concert for ticketholders.

Alluding to the “#GetWellSoonLiam” hashtag, Payne went on write, “Thank you so much for all the trends and lovely messages you guys did for me it really shows how amazing u guys actually are.” He added, “As I said I’m feeling much better now and I really can’t wait to perform and make it up to everyone later.”
