The hit ABC drama starring Viola Davis will hit the streaming service on Sept. 18.
How to Get Away With Murder is coming to Netflix.
The streaming service has nabbed the exclusive worldwide streaming rights to the first season of the ABC legal thriller from Shonda Rhimes and Pete Nowalk. The news was announced Friday ahead of the show's return on Thursday, Sept. 24.
Season one of the Viola Davis-led drama will hit the platform on Sept. 18 in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Davis, meanwhile, is up for a best actress Emmy on Sunday, Sept. 20 for her starring role as tough, unpredictable criminal law professor Annalise Keating.

"We're excited to offer global audiences season one of How To Get Away With Murder, offering members a chance to discover it for the first time or relive the drama of season one before the new season's premiere."
"How to Get Away With Murder is ABC's highest rated new series from the 2014-15 season," added Disney-ABC home entertainment and television distribution president Janice Marinelli. "This agreement to make our season one episodes available underscores the value of this series, and reinforces the overall popularity of How To Get Away With Murder on ABC and its other first-run platforms around the world."
The series, produced by ABC Studios, was created and executive produced by Nowalk, with Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Bill D'Elia also serve as executive producers.
