Whatever remaining issues Kris Jenner has with Caitlyn Jenner, she’s still able to recognize her ex’s newfound beauty. Listen below!
During an interview on PAPER Radio via Andy Cohen’s new SiriusXM channel on Friday, Kris recounted meeting Caitlyn for the first time, and even paid her former husband a few compliments. “I was very nervous, you know, driving over there. Kim actually drove over there with me and waited in the car because I was so nervous,” Kris said, revealing something that wasn’t seen during the “I Am Cait” footage that aired last weekend.
Kris said of her nerves, “Who in a million years — I’ve never been through anything like this before and I don’t know anybody in my life to talk to who’s been through anything like this before, so it’s a process. Every single person just has to do it at their own pace. So it took me a minute to go over and meet her.”
And though it sure didn’t seem like it during the episode, Kris insisted she ultimately felt fairly comfortable being in Caitlyn’s home. “Once I was inside and once I got rid of my jitters and my nerves, I walked in and I remember looking around, like looking anywhere else, like, ‘Oh! Look what you’ve done with the place!’ I didn’t know what to say,” she recalled. “And then when I looked at her, I thought, ‘Wow! She looks really good.'”
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Kris actually had Caitlyn over to her own home this week for a drink with “no cameras,” and, according to her, they actually bonded a bit. She remembered, “We were sitting in the kitchen at my house, and I remember I just kept staring at her eyebrows. And I said, ‘What?! You have the most beautiful eyebrows!’ She just looked at me like I was insane. But it was like I found myself really complimenting some of the different changes she’s made.”
That’s not to say, of course, that everything is peachy-keen between the one-time spouses. “It’s odd because it’s with the same voice — but that’s in the moment because, to be honest, you know, I’m still missing Bruce,” admitted the momager. Kris added, “It’s just very confusing and complicated when you go through it this intimately with somebody. It’s really a process.”
