Will "a very particular set of skills" work just as well on the small screen?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Taken" is getting the reboot and prequel treatment and headed to NBC.
The network reportedly gave a straight-to-series order based on the 2008 hit Liam Neeson movie.
Details on a cast, writers or a showrunner and series premiere date have yet to be revealed
The first "Taken" pulled in a whopping $145 million at the box office and spawned two successful sequels in 2012 and 2014.
