Carrie Underwood has no problem rallying football fans every week with her rousing "Sunday Night Football" theme.
When it comes to pitting the players against her hockey star husband Mike Fisher, however, she isn't quite ready to play ball.
The superstar recently shot her new "Sunday Night Football" promo, and let Access Hollywood behind the scenes while she palled around with star athletes like Russell Wilson, Clay Matthews and Andrew Luck.

When asked what distinguishes the NFL hunks from their NHL counterparts, Carrie initially seemed stumped.
"I'd say hockey guys have more facial hair," she said after a pause, laughing.

"That's one physical difference," she winked, "but they're all hot."
The comparisons ended there, and understandably so. After all, Carrie and Nashville Predators centerman Mike have more to think about off the proverbial field.
"I feel like I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that we have a baby," the superstar said.
She and Mike welcomed son Isaiah in February, and Carrie told Access that the adjustment period has been a bit surreal.

"Sometimes I've even asked my husband, 'Do you feel like we actually have a kid?'" she said.
"It completely changes your life, and all of your routines that you once had are out the window," the seven-time Grammy winner added.
She and Mike are more than up for the challenge, though.
"It's been a whole, amazing, sweet little monkey wrench into my life," Carrie smiled.
"Sunday Night Football" kicks off on Sept. 13 between the Giants and the Cowboys at 8:30 PM ET on NBC.
