The 'Mad Men' alum will play the boyfriend of Felicity Huffman's character.

Christopher Stanley is boarding American Crime.

The Mad Men actor has booked a recurring role on season two of John Ridley’s ABC drama. He'll portray Charles, a handsome and sophisticated businessman and love interest to Felicity Huffman's character, Barb Hanlon.

The first season of the Emmy-nominated anthology series centered on a divorced couple (Huffman and Timothy Hutton) whose worlds are ripped apart following the slaying of their son and daughter-in-law and the subsequent investigation and trial that rips a community apart. Season two will reset its story and characters, focusing on an incident at a high school in the Midwest that sparks discussions about gender issues, sexual orientation and sexual identity.

Best known for his turn in AMC's hit advertising drama as Betty's (January Jones) husband Henry Francis, Stanley also appeared in three seasons of NYPD Blue as Officer Szymanski. His feature credits include Oscar-winner Argo, as well as Zero Dark 30.

Stanley is repped by APA and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management.
