The head of communications has been at the company for 15 years.

Corporate PR vet Scott Grogin is exiting Fox Networks Group at the end of the year.

Grogin has been with the company since 2000, where he began at Fox broadcast network before getting promoted to senior vice president of corporate communications for Fox Networks Group in 2008. Following his departure, Grogin's responsibilities will be folded into 21st Century Fox chief communications officer Julie Henderson's group.

During his time at the company, Grogin was instrumental in launching shows, including American Idol. Prior, he held PR positions at Universal Studios Recreation Group and NBC.

"For 15 years, I've come to work every single day excited to be here. It's an interesting business that keeps me stimulated and engrossed every single day," Grogin told The Hollywood Reporter, adding: "I'm not retiring; I'm just moving on to do something else."
