The new footage also reveals a glimpse at new villain Atom-Smasher (Adam Copeland).
The world of The Flash is about to get super complicated.
After the events of the season one finale in which scarlet speedster Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) accidentally opened a wormhole after traveling through time, the original Flash Jay Garrick (Masters of Sex alum Teddy Sears) is able to use that portal to come to Barry's world to deliver an ominous warning.
The season two trailer for the Arrow spinoff series features intense new footage of Jay Garrick's arrival in Central City.
"My name is Jay Garrick, and your world is in danger," Garrick says in the video. This leads Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to ask the monumental question, "What other worlds are there?"
Season two is set to introduce the existence of multiple worlds/universes, and Garrick's arrival signals that other DC Comics characters are on their way from their own worlds. The trailer also offers a glimpse at one of the new threats heading to Central City via this new portal, Atom-Smasher (Adam Copeland), a villain with enhanced strength and the ability to get super-sized.

Other new additions to The Flash for season two include Tony Todd as the voice of new big bad villain Zoom, Insurgent star Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, Falk Hentschel as Hawkman and Casper Crump as the villain Vandal Savage. The latter two will first appear on crossover episodes of Arrow/The Flash before starring in the 2016 spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
The Flash season two premieres Oct. 6 on The CW.
