The 'So You Think You Can Dance' judge will play herself in an upcoming episode of the Fox comedy.

Paula Abdul is pulling double duty on Fox.

The So You Think You Can Dance judge will play herself on the network's freshman comedy Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The single-camera comedy explores the misadventures -- a night in jail, an inappropriate text, an ill-advised household pet -- people have after college but before they settle down.

In the episode, Cooper (Kingsman: The Secret Service star Jack Cutmore-Scott) and his roommates (Charlie Saxton and James Earl) run into Abdul while trying to earn some quick cash. The "Straight Up" singer joins previously announced guest stars Parker Young and Lyndon Smith.

The role continues Abdul's long-running relationship with Fox. Before joining So You Think You Can Dance in January, she served as a judge on American Idol for eight seasons followed by one season of The X Factor. The season finale of So You Think You Can Dance airs Monday at 8 p.m. Abdul is repped by ICM Partners, The Syndicate and Loeb & Loeb.

Created by writer Jay LacopoCooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life hails from 20th Century Fox Television and Gail Berman's The Jackal Group. Lacopo and Berman exec produce with Bill Callahan and James Griffiths, who directed the pilot. The comedy is set to bow midseason on Fox.
