Beyonce Wows With Rousey Speech – ARTICLE

Beyonce celebrated her 34th birthday on Friday, but her Budweiser Made in America performance on Saturday was a present for us.

The superstar delivered a sexy 90-minute set at the Philadelphia festival, centered on gender equality and female empowerment, and incorporated a now-famous soundbite from UFC champion Ronda Rousey.

Before performing her hit, "Diva," Queen Bey played Ronda's powerful response to critics who dub her body "masculine," as the fighter's words flashed across a screen.

Beyonce Rocks Made In America!

"I have this one term for the kind of woman that my mother raised me to not be, and I call it a 'do nothing bitch.' Like, the kind of chick that just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by somebody else," Ronda said. "That's why I think it's hilarious that people say that my body looks masculine or something like that. I'm just like, listen – just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f**king millionaires doesn't mean it's masculine.

"I think it's femininely badass as f**k because there's not a single muscle on my body that isn't for a purpose because I'm not a do nothing bitch," the voiceover continued as the lights came up on Bey and she launched into "Diva."

UFC President Dana White Tweeted a video of the Ronda/Bey moment, captioned, "#DNB @RondaRousey #BeyonceMadeInAmerica @UFC @S_C_."

Beyonce also incorporated multiple Destiny's Child songs into her set ("Survivor," "Independent Women," "Bootylicious," "Say My Name" and "Jumpin' Jumpin"), and gave her DC girls a shout-out.

"Shout-out to my girl Kelly, I love you. My girl Michelle, I love you," she said, referencing Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

And the fans weren't the only ones enjoying Beyonce's high-energy set – her husband, Jay Z was spotted in the crowd (hoodie pulled low, standing next to Nick Jonas) dancing and singing along to his wife's "7/11" and "1+1."
