A "House of Cards" star is coming to "Marvel's Luke Cage."
Mahershala Ali, who plays Remy Danton, sometime friend, sometime foe to President Frank Underwood on Netflix's "HoC," has been cast as Cottonmouth Stokes in "Marvel's Luke Cage," also on the streaming network.
Stokes, who runs a nightclub in Harlem, will become an enemy of Luke because his "criminal activities threaten Luke's world," according to Marvel.

Mahershala joins "The Good Wife's" Mike Coulter who stars as Luke Cage. Cheo Hodari Coker is the show's executive producer.
The new series will premiere in 2016 on Netflix.
