Kim Kardashian and Rob Kardashian were NOT “forced” by Kris Jenner to “make up,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim. A rep for Kim tells us she and Rob had nothing for which to make up in the first place.
According to RadarOnline, Rob has recently been working at improving his life, and “his mom forced him to take the next step and end the feud he had had going with his sister.” As evidence that Jenner’s supposed “behind-the-scenes cajoling has worked,” the webloid points to the recent hike the siblings took together, claiming it was done “on orders from their momager.”
“Kris read them both the riot act and pointed out that this is the worst possible time for the family to be feuding,” a so-called “family insider” alleges to Radar. “Since Caitlyn’s transformation she’s been quick to point out to everyone in the clan that they need a show of unity, or risk being seen as too fractured and dysfunctional for many of their sponsors and investors.”
The site goes on to claim Jenner “especially laid into Kim for her past bad behavior toward Rob,” which is what supposedly prompted Kim to tweet about their workout. The alleged Radar “insider” even adds that Rob “will be a focal point on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ and Kim’s savvy enough to realize she needs to get behind Rob if she wants to come across well in future episodes.”
But Gossip Cop has learned that Radar is totally misrepresenting the family dynamic. Yes, Kim has no made secret of favoring a “tough love” approach to her brother’s struggles over the last year. And many have seized on Rob bailing from her wedding and posting a Gone Girl “bitch” photo on Instagram as proof of a breakdown in their relationship, even though both were later explained.
The reality is that, like most siblings, they have ups and downs. And contrary to Radar’s assertions, Kim and Rob didn’t all of a sudden make nice last week. As evidenced by interviews and tweets, Kim and Rob have very much been in each other lives all year, such as when she spoke about his reaction to Caitlyn Jenner’s transition, and when he tweeted about her morning sickness.
Jenner did NOT “force” them to “make up,” nor did she “force” them to go on a hike. As a rep for Kim exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “There was no feud.” RadarOnline really needs to try keeping with the Kardashians a little better.
