Sunday’s 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were wacky and wild, but for many celebrities, the party didn’t really get going until after the ceremony ended. Stars ranging from Taylor Swift and Nick Jonas to The Weeknd and Demi Lovato hit up after-parties that continued well into the night. Check out the new pictures below!
Swift and her “squad,” fresh off winning Video of the Year for “Bad Blood,” held court at the Republic Records after-party, which took place at West Hollywood’s Ysabel. Joe Jonas deejayed the event, and Selena Gomez was spotted chatting up her ex-boyfriend, Nick. Gossip Cop fully expects the sighting to reignite false “reunion” and “dating again” rumors.
Lorde and Ariana Grande also attended the Republic Records party even though they weren’t at the VMAs. The Weeknd, who was widely praised for a performance that focused on vocals more than theatrics, walked the bash’s red carpet. And Vanessa Hudgens posing with ex Zac Efron’s latest co-star Emily Ratajkowski was a moment few expected to see.
One of the main competing shindigs was the Jeremy Scott and Adidas Originals after-party. Scott, of course, redesigned this year’s Moonman trophy, and also inspired the red carpet’s colorful look. Lovato and Iggy Azalea were some of the celebrities who opted to party with him.
