Caitlyn Jenner is NOT walking the runway at New York Fashion Week, despite a report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the claim. A rep for Jenner tells us the allegation is 100 percent untrue.

The story can be found in the pages of this week’s Life & Style, which warns that Jenner’s model daughter Kendall better “watch out.” How come? Well, a so-called “industry insider” alleges to the magazine, “Caitlyn is in talks to walk the runway at the Givenchy show for Riccardo Tisci during New York Fashion Week in September.”

“It was a no-brainer because Caitlyn’s the most-talked-about person of the year and Riccardo is a vocal advocate for LGBTQ rights,” continues the supposed Life & Style source. But the tabloid goes on to claim that Jenner “may be getting cold feet.”

Its alleged tipster explains, “She feels like she has a huge responsibility to the transgender community and is a little nervous about the backlash she could get by doing a fashion show. This is a dream offer, but she’s struggling with it.”

And that’s exactly how Life & Style intended to get away with its story. By first alleging that Jenner was “in talks” for Fashion Week, and then claiming she may not do it, the tabloid has given itself the perfect cover for when the reality star doesn’t appear at Tisci’s show. And she will NOT be there.

A rep for Jenner exclusively tells Gossip Cop that she’s not set to make ANY appearances at New York Fashion Week, and was never in negotiations to be there. The only thing Kendall should “watch out” for is magazines like Life & Style spreading lies about her family.
