Let's go ahead and just throw the idea of "leaving something to the imagination" out the window when talking about Miley Cyrus.
Just ask Jimmy Kimmel.
Miley hit "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Wednesday night, wearing a cape… and not much else.

OK, well at least the "MTV Video Music Awards" host was gracious enough to accessorize with a pair of heart-shaped pasties.
"You are almost naked. Where do you get an outfit like this?" Jimmy asked Miley, who opened her cape, prompting the late night host to blush a bit.
"Oh, my God! I am embarrassed!" he laughed, covering his eyes.

As the conversation continued, Miley took it upon herself to explain that it's not exactly bare breasts that makes people nervous.
"Humans aren't afraid of the human breast. It's the nipple that's the issue," Miley suggested. "I'm showing my boobs and no one has a problem because the nipples are covered so somehow that's OK. America's actually fine with [breasts]. It's nipples they don't like—which is what you have. Which is insane, because the nipple, you can't show, everyone has—but the jug part that everyone doesn't, you're allowed to show under-boob."
So what's her secret to keeping those dreaded nipples under wraps?
"I travel with a lot of tape," the VMAs host noted.

During her appearance on Kimmel, Miley covered up much more than her nipples for an undercover sketch called "I Witness News," where they disguised the star as an Australian reporter named "Janet" and sent her out into the street to talk to folks who apparently aren't big Miley fans.
