The last semifinalists for “America’s Got Talent” season 10 were announced on Wednesday.

As Gossip Cop reported, the remaining group of 12 quarterfinalists all performed live for the first time on Tuesday, taking the stage at Radio City Music Hall. While blind dancer Benjamin Yonattan and visual dance group Freelusion were among the judges’ favorites, middle-aged dancers DADitude became the first act in the history of the NBC competition to be Xed by the entire panel during a live episode. But the decision as to which seven acts would make it through was largely up to the viewers.

Host Nick Cannon began the live results show by revealing which acts, in no particular order, placed sixth, seventh, and eighth based on the votes cast by viewers. They were surprisingly revealed to be Yonattan, opera singer Daniella Mass, and comedian Gary Vider. The show’s Twitter vote then opened up to keep one in the competition, with the judges later getting to choose between the remaining two.

As for the top 5 finishers, the acts that automatically made the semifinals were: bluegrass group Mountain Faith Band, singer Alicia Michilli, mentalist Oz Pearlman, professional regurgitator Stevie Starr, and Freelusion. Then it was revealed Vider had won the Twitter save. That left it up to the judges to choose whether Mass or Yonattan would get the final spot.

Heidi Klum voted for Yonattan, and then Mel B cast a vote for Mass. Howie Mandel then went with Mass, too, saying she had a “better chance of winning.” It then came down to Howard Stern, and he gave Mass the final vote to put her ahead. And with that, Yonattan was sadly given the boot. Among those also unexpectedly eliminated was Selected Of God choir, who had previously wowed the judges earlier in the season.

Next week, the semifinals for 2015 will officially begin with the first batch of semifinalists and one judge’s to-be-announced wild card. TELL US: Are you happy with the season’s results so far?
