Taylor Swift is “not affected” at all by the prospect of Katy Perry doing some kind of revenge song, an insider exclusively tells Gossip Cop. A source says Swift doesn’t know whether it’s true or not that a song is being worked up in retaliation for “Bad Blood,” which reportedly is about Perry, but even if it is, “Her life is good… She can’t be bothered by stuff like that.”

According to tabloid reports, Perry is working with Diplo on a song called “Crocodile Tears,” which is supposedly going to rip into Swift. Gossip Cop reached out to Perry’s rep to confirm that a song was even in the works, but has yet to hear back.

Regardless, a source tells Gossip Cop that Swift is not concerned at all, noting that the singer is in a happy relationship with Calvin Harris, is constantly surrounded by good friends, and is blowing the roof off of sold-out stadiums with her hugely successful 1989 tour. “Taylor focuses on all the things that she’s grateful for and what she can do for others,” says our insider, adding, “The rest [of it], the gossip… she doesn’t pay attention to it… It’s time wasted that can be spent of doing positive things.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, last year Swift explained in an interview that “Bad Blood” is about a female musician who tried to sabotage a tour of hers. Swift said of the woman, now universally considered to be Perry, “We’re just straight-up enemies.” Shortly after Swift’s remarks, Perry obliquely tweeted about a “mean girl.” And last month, while Swift and Nicki Minaj engaged in a quickly resolved Twitter feud, Perry jumped into the fray to seemingly shade Swift by noting how an unnamed individual “capitalizes on the take down of a woman.”
