The NBC singing competition is up for six awards including outstanding reality competition.

Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams are known for their ultra competitive ways on The Voice, and now the two coaches are putting those skills to use for Emmy season.

In The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive video, the two celebrate the singing competition's six nominations and issue an usual, but spirited, plea for a trophy (or six).

"Please, I've never seen one of those trophies in person," says Shelton, who makes a hilarious comparison between the winged statue and one of his famous Voice rivals.

The new season of The Voice premieres Monday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
