Still smiling! Reba McEntire made a brief yet memorable appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The cameo marked one of the first televised appearances from the country music legend, 60, since she and her husband of 26 years, Narvel Blackstock, announced earlier this month that they were divorcing.
McEntire popped up during the “Audience Suggestion Box” segment, in which one audience member asked, “Have you heard of close-up serenading? It’s when the singer serenades you with a song but stands only inches away from your face.”

The “Going Out Like That” singer accepted the challenge to join Fallon in the duet. She was a good sport throughout, goofing off with the late night host while pressing her nose close to the audience member’s cheek and singing the made-up song “Just Wanna Spend This Moment.”

It wasn’t the first time McEntire had appeared on TV since her split news broke. On Aug. 5, she had a guest role on the ABC Family show Baby Daddy alongside her former Reba costar Melissa Peterman.
McEntire and Blackstock, 58, announced their split on Aug. 3, in a statement from the Big Machine Label Group.

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other," the statement read. "They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time."
The exes share son Shelby, a race car driver.
