Kim Kardashian ranted about gun control late Wednesday, angered by the murders of Valerie Jackson and her family, allegedly at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, David Conley.

Conley was arrested in Houston on Saturday after allegedly killing Jackson, her husband, and her six children, who ranged between the ages of 6 and 13 years old. The eldest was Conley’s own son, and he allegedly fatally shot each one in the head after breaking into Jackson’s home. Conley was later taken into custody after a standoff with police.

Kardashian sounded off on the tragedy via Twitter, first asking her 34.4 million followers, “Have u heard of the heart breaking story about David Conley who slaughtered his ex girlfriend & her entire family! Her 6 kids, husband & her!”

She continued, “He purchased the gun & ammo ONLINE! How is it so easy to purchase guns online!!! Does this not sicken you? No background checks needed!!!!!” Kardashian went on, “These gun safety laws have to change! This poor woman was tied up & saw every child of hers & husband get executed over 10 hours!”

In her fourth and final tweet on the subject, the reality star wrote, “My thoughts & prayers go out to Valerie Jackson’s family and friends! #GunLawsHAVEtoChange #GunSafety #BackgroundChecksNecessary.” Conley has been charged with capital murder, and prosecutors will likely seek the death penalty.

As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian previously came out in support of gun control during her appearance at the San Francisco Commonwealth Club in late June. “I’m not the type to have [guns] in my house. They scare me so much,” she said during a Q&A. “If I could do something to change the world… I’m not really a gun person, and we do not have strict enough gun control laws.”

And, as Gossip Cop previously noted, Kardashian also recently spoke out about another hot-button current events issue: the death of Sandra bland while in Texas police custody. TELL US: What do you think of Kardashian tweeting about gun control and the Conley-Jackson murders?
