The moment "Star Wars" fans have been waiting for finally arrived at the Star Wars Celebration!
The annual fan convention, this year held in Anaheim, Calif., kicked off in a big way on Thursday when director J.J. Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy shared a new teaser trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" with the lucky attendees, who were happier than a Wookie beating a droid in a game of holochess to see the new footage.
"The Force is strong in my family. My father has it, I have it, my sister has it, you have that power too," Luke Skywalker is heard saying in a voiceover in the clip.

AccessHollywood.com was on the scene at SWCA and here are the best OMG moments from the trailer that had the crowd (and us!) going insane:
• Darth Vader's charred and broken mask
• Leia holding a lightsaber
• An army of menacing stormtroppers
• The Millennium Falcon soaring in the sky and then into a downed an Imperial Star Destroyer
• The first look of Han Solo and Chewbacca where Han says, "Chewie, we're home."
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" blasts into theaters on December 18, 2015.
