“American Idol” eliminated another contestant and revealed the Top 6 for season 14 on Wednesday during another jam-packed combined performance and results show.

As Gossip Cop reported, the Top 7 was unveiled last week, with each safe contestant getting to perform in hopes of making this week’s Top 6. Those who amassed enough votes after last week’s show made the cut, and host Ryan Seacrest revealed them one by one. As each contestant got the good news, he or she took the stage for one of TWO performances each for the “American Classics”-themed night.

Joey Cook and Rayvon Owen, the contestants left at the end of the first round, were the Bottom Two for receiving the lowest amount of votes for last week’s performances. Both were given the chance to hit the stage for their prepared “American Classics” performances, with Owen, in jeopardy for the third week in a row, doing “Always On My Mind,” and Cook taking on “Somebody to Love,” in hopes of winning the Fan Save. After the 5-minute Twitter voting period, it was revealed Owen was once again victorious… meaning Cook was eliminated. And the results were super close, with 52 percent going for Owen.

He now joins Tyanna Jones, Clark Beckham, Jax, Nick Fradiani, and Quentin Alexander in the Top 6. But will tonight’s performances get them into the Top 5 next week? Can all the Owen fans saving him week after week prevent him from being in the bottom yet again? And will the shocking drama with Harry Connick Jr. and Quentin Alexander affect the outcome? Tell us what you think of tonight’s crazy show and who you’re rooting for!
