Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis are NOT a new couple, despite an In Touch report claiming the kitchen stars are dating now that Flay is divorcing his wife Stephanie March after a decade. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the story.
De Laurentiis herself recently left a marriage, and In Touch claims “it’s on!” between her and Flay. “Bobby and Giada have been close for years. Now they’re free to pursue a relationship,” explains a source for the outlet. The magazine points out, “[Flay] and Giada have more than nasty divorces in common.”
The In Touch source says, “They have great chemistry. If they start spending time together in public, no one will be surprised.” Another magazine insider observes, “When they’re together, sparks fly.” Oh, how magical.
Earlier this year, another tabloid ran a horrendous cover story about De Laurentiis, linking her to men including Flay, Matt Lauer and John Mayer. At the time, she exclusively told Gossip Cop that all of the rumors were made up, specifically saying of Flay that he was a long-time friend but there was nothing romantic between them.
Nothing has changed, even with Flay now getting divorced. They are friends, and that’s it. “Giada is and has always been friends with Bobby,” her rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively.
