Billy Joel is going to be a dad again, Gossip Cop confirms with the singer’s rep. This will be the second child for the rock ’n’ roll legend, and his first with longtime girlfriend Alexis Roderick.
A rep for the singer-songwriter tells Gossip Cop, “Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer,” adding, “The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut.”
Joel has another child, his singer-songwriter daughter Alexa Ray Joel, whom he had with his ex-wife Christie Brinkley. Alexa Ray was born 29 years ago, so he may need a refresher course on changing diapers.
RadarOnline is now claiming that the unborn baby, a girl, will be named Madison, but a mutual pal of Gossip Cop and Joel’s says that is not true. Nor are reports that Roderick, with her growing baby bump, has been seen spending time with Joel’s mom. That’s because Joel’s mom is deceased. And contrary to published stories, Joel will be a new dad at 66, not 65.
