Kimberly Nichole gave an INCREDIBLE performance for the second week in a row on “The Voice” on Monday.” This time, the contestant showed her vocal prowess with the classic, “The House of the Rising Sun.” Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Nichole spectacularly killed it during the live playoffs last week, so it was no surprise that she received enough votes from viewers to automatically make the Top 12. It was also not a shocker that producers gave her the final slot of this episode, allowing her to close the show with another unbelievable performance. And it was well worth the nearly two-hour wait to see her take the stage.
Pharrell was on his feet before Nichole was even halfway done, and the rest of the coaches later followed. Afterward, Pharrell, Nichole’s former coach, could barely even speak over the crowd’s roars. “I can’t even get a word in. I’m still standing on my feet,” he told the contestant. He went on, “First three, four lines in, I was like, oh, I gotta stand up. There are no words to tell you what you’ve just done. You can look at the [iTunes] chart to see what you’ve just done.”
Adam Levine amusingly said, “What! What! That’s all. I don’t have anything else to say. Wait. I do. What!” Blake Shelton even admitted, “I think we have to start talking about the possibility of Christina winning her first season of ‘The Voice.'”
Christina Aguilera, of course, is Nichole’s coach, and she was thrilled by Shelton’s comment. She went on to tell her artist, “First of all, that’s an incredible song, but I’ve never heard that interpretation of it ever… That has not been done, and I’m gonna go buy that on iTunes as soon as we wrap up.” Watch below!
