The sophomore FX drama is adding new faces ahead of its June return.
Tyrant is adding some new faces for season two.
Jake Weber (Medium) has landed a recurring role on the FX drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Weber will play Jimmy Timmons, a Pasadena-based attorney who will serve as a new love interest for Molly (Jennifer Finnigan). Jimmy helps Molly, Sammy (Noah Silver) and Emma Al-Fayeed (Anne Winters) in the wake of Barry's failed coup attempt. The role reunites Weber with former Medium executive producer Glen Gordon Caron.
FX announced Wednesday that Tyrant's sophomore season will debut on June 16 at 10 p.m.
Weber's credits include Hell on Wheels, White House Down and Dawn of the Dead. He is repped by Paradigm and Framework Entertainment.
