"I was dead against you," C.K. told Fallon during Tuesday's 'Tonight Show.'
Not everyone takes a shine to Jimmy Fallon right off the bat.
Louis C.K. was a guest on Tuesday's Tonight Show, and he talked about Fallon having auditioned for a role on ABC's The Dana Carvey Show, on which C.K. served as the head writer. The sketch series aired for seven episodes in 1996.
C.K. said that, after his audition, the women on the writing staff all wanted to hire Fallon. However, C.K. and another male writer weren't feeling it.
"I think I actually said, 'I will quit the show if you hire that kid,' " C.K. admitted. "'Absolutely not!' I was dead against you."
