As soon as Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs’ engagement was reported, webloids starting cooking up bogus Kristen Stewart angles. Now it’s RadarOnline’s turn, with the site claiming the actress is “beyond angry” about her ex-boyfriend’s new status. Gossip Cop can bust the story.
According to a so-called “insider” for the outlet, “[Stewart] is really p**sed off over Rob getting engaged to FKA Twigs after knowing her for only a couple of months. She is saying she really does not care at all about this, but everyone knows that is not the case.” RadarOnline goes on to explain that Stewart is especially hurt because Pattinson allegedly never gave Stewart the option of marriage when they were a couple.
Oh, and Stewart also purportedly believes the engagement is somehow Pattinson’s revenge on her. “She really wonders if part of the reason he got involved with FKA Twigs so quickly is to get back at her,” says the RadarOnline source.
Enough already. Stewart and Pattinson split up a LONG TIME ago, way before he and Twigs began dating, much less got engaged. It’s the tabloids and webloids that never moved on from the Stewart-Pattinson relationship, not the stars themselves. And the notion that RadarOnline, of all places, somehow knows Stewart’s secret feelings about the situation is laughable.
This is the same outlet that consistently bashed Stewart and Pattinson’s relationship while it was still happening, falsely linked her to James Franco and others, invented feuds between her and other Hollywood actresses, and generally sensationalized the Stewart-Pattinson saga at every turn. Now RadarOnline is following the likes of Celeb Dirty Laundry, HollywoodLife and other disreputable outlets alleging Stewart is somehow devastated about Pattinson’s news. Enough already. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the report is “totally untrue.”
