Michael Keaton opened his “SNL” monologue talking about how long it’s been since he last hosted the show, and then spoofed a few of his classic movies including Beetlejuice and Batman. Check out the video below of Keaton’s “Saturday Night Live” monologue.

Keaton was in the middle of discussing his first time hosting “SNL,” when he was joined on stage by Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan. The two “SNL” cast members broke out into song asking Keaton, “Will you play Batman with us… It’s a real life fantasy.” After some hesitation, Keaton ended his monologue by uttering the famous words “I’m Batman.”

This is the third time Keaton has hosted “SNL.” He made his hosting debut on the sketch comedy 33 years ago, alongside musical guest Joe Jackson. Keaton then returned with Morrissey as the musical guest in 1992. This time around, he’s joined by Carly Rae Jepsen, who’s making her “SNL” debut.

It’s been a big year for Keaton, who was highly lauded for his performance in Birdman. Keaton won this year’s Golden Globe Award, Critics’ Choice Awards, and Independent Spirit Award for Best Actor for his portrayal in the movie as a has-been star known for playing the superhero “Birdman,” who’s trying to mount a comeback. While Keaton lost the Academy Award for Best Actor to Eddie Redmayne, who played Stephen Hawking in The Theory Of Everything, Birdman won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
