Miley Cyrus is throwing a one-year anniversary party to remember the painful passing of her beloved dog Floyd. Along with a throwback photo of herself kissing the husky, Cyrus announced on Instagram that she was throwing a “Floyd-amony” in honor of the her late dog.
On Wednesday, the pop star even posted photos of the decorations she already bought for her “Floyd-amony” (below), as well as ice cream and treats. In one picture, Cyrus wrote, “To all my fwends I miss so much… Love, Floyd. TWEATS FOR ALL FLOYDS FWENDS COMING!!!”
Prior to talking about the pooch party, Cyrus wrote, “It has been a year wayyy to long since I have got to hold him… my baby got taken wayyyyy to soon.” She added, “At times I didn’t know how I was going to go out there and perform and smile and pretend I wasn’t hurting… But with you I didn’t have to… I could show my pain and you all would console me… I love you.”
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Cyrus was extremely close to Floyd and took the dog’s passing very hard. In July, she got the pet’s face tattooed on the side of her body with the words, “With A Little Help From My Fwends.” Check out the photos below from Cyrus’ “Floyd-amony,” and tell us what you think.
