Nick Jonas has released his “Chains (The Wynwood Walls Edition)” music video, an alternative to the original “Chains” video he released last year. Watch the new one below!
Filmed in Miami at the famous Wynwood Walls graffiti and street art center, the clip is a colorful response to the darker version Jonas put out last summer. First, we see the singer running through the streets. Then he’s washing his face. But then night falls. Jonas lights up a cigar. The streets come alive. There are weird vehicles, wild costumes, various states of undress, masks, skull face paint, and general bedlam. It’s like Mad Max, except a friendly dance party instead of a post-apocalyptic death frenzy and hell scape.
Jonas has been busy. On Friday, he delivered alcohol to surprised customers all over Los Angeles as part of a publicity stunt for the Saucey delivery app. On Saturday, he hosted the Kids’ Choice Awards for Nickelodeon. On Sunday, he performed at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. And now he’s releasing alternate music videos for his songs. He’s a dynamo.
