Selena Gomez is not on the verge of rehab following the Justin Bieber Comedy Central Roast, despite an outrageous new Celeb Dirty Laundry report claiming the actress-singer is “devastated” and “spiraling downward” because of jokes at her expense. Gossip Cop can bust this story, which comes from an outlet that has spread one lie after another about Gomez.
CDL previously said Gomez leaked naked pictures of Bieber, was already “engaged” to Zedd, and then had a secret rendezvous in Paris with Bieber. None of these things was true. The desperate webloid made all of the stories up. This latest report is no different.
According to the site’s “insiders,” ever since the Bieber roast, Gomez is “back to her old self.” The blog explains, “The confident and ambitious singer and actress that she became when Justin was no longer a part of her life has disappeared.” One made-up source tells CDL, “Since the roast was filmed, Selena has been a wreck. She has partied every single night – she sleeps like the entire day away and then goes out and drinks and sits there staring off into space or crying. Everyone is scared she is going to wind up back in rehab.”
Not only is this 100 percent false, it’s also completely despicable. Fabricating a substance abuse scare for clicks is about as low as a “news outlet” can get. Gomez is NOT worrying her friends or inner circle with any kind of reckless behavior. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the story is “ridiculous and totally false.”
