Chris Brown says he does NOT have a new girlfriend, despite a flurry of reports linking him to Candice Brook and Briona Mae.

MediaTakeOut was the first to claim Brown was dating Brook, posting a so-called “world exclusive” earlier this month after Brown was dumped by Karrueche Tran following the bombshell news that he was the father to a 9-month-old baby girl named Royalty. MediaTakeOut alleged Brown was “officially in love again” with Brook, whom the site deemed a “Rihanna look alike.”

The webloid’s article was primarily based on Instagram photos Brook had posted from Brown’s “Between The Sheets” tour, leading MediaTakeOut to claim the supposed new couple was “inseparable,” and that Brown was “head over heels.” A slew of lemming-like sites picked up the unfounded rumor over the last few days, while others in the last 24 hours, including MediaTakeOut, have claimed he’s seeing Mae, leading Brown to hit back at the gossip on Friday morning.

“I don’t have a new girl and don’t plan on it anytime soon. #rumorkiller,” he tweeted. The singer added, “Some people try to ride the wave and take suggestive pictures misleading others. Knowing damn well they came wit da homies and not me!”

Brown set the record straight hours before a court appearance for his probation, and he further told fans, “Hopefully this is my last day in court….. Pray for me.” As Gossip Cop reported, several of the star’s tour dates had to be rescheduled earlier this year, after a judge would not permit him to travel until he finished his court-ordered community service. Friday’s hearing should address both Brown’s status with that, and whether he violated his probation when he left Los Angeles County without permission in January to perform in a San Jose, California club where a shooting took place.
