Kris Jenner is NOT trying to join “The View,” despite a new OK! report claiming the reality TV star is making a bid to take the seat vacated by Rosie O’Donnell. Gossip Cop can bust the rumor.
According to a so-called “source” for the outlet, “Kris is acting as her own agent, so she’s been calling the producers to try to sell them on what an enormous audience she already has and how she will single-handedly save the show.” The magazine points out that Jenner has experience guest-hosting the show, and also hosted her own short-lived daytime series “Kris.”
OK! claims the “only obstacle” to Jenner taking the gig are her would-be co-hosts. The tabloid’s source explains, “Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the ladies have made it clear that they find the Kardashian brand tacky and aren’t interesting in having Kris join them.”
Here’s a quick translation: OK! manufactured the Jenner joining “The View” story, and then manufactured an easy way to explain why she’s not joining, by blaming Goldberg and the other co-hosts. Except there is NO truth to the premise. Jenner is not going after “The View” spot. A rep for the show tells Gossip Cop exclusively, there’s “no truth” to the report.
