Chris Soules has been gushing about his engagement to “Bachelor” winner Whitney Bischoff, but a new report claims that he is still in love with runner-up with Becca Tilley. According to a tabloid story, Soules realized that Tilley was actually the one that he wanted as “his wife.” Very dramatic, but Gossip Cop can report that this tale is not true.
According to In Touch, Soules only proposed to Bischoff because “she loved him more” than Tilley and was “a secure bet.” The tabloid further claims that Soules made “a big deal on the show about finding a wife,” and is now “feeling tremendous pressure” to make things work with Bischoff.
Naturally, the tabloid doesn’t take into account that maybe Soules proposed to Bischoff because he loves her. “The Bachelor” told Chris Harrison during the “After the Final Rose” special that he’s not “looking back” and was ready to “move forward” with his fiancee, who he called “gorgeous on the outside” and “beyond beautiful on the inside.”
Still, Gossip Cop looked into the magazine’s claim, and we’re told Soules loves Bischoff and, while he cared for Tilley, he knew (and did she, too) that their relationship would “never be feasible.” An insider assures Gossip Cop he is not still in love with Tilley.
