“Fifty Shades of Grey” author E L James appeared on “The View” on Friday to chat about her erotic trilogy and its impact in bedrooms around the world.

The writer talked about the books’ origins in her Twilight Saga fandom, how she learned about kinky sex, the trilogy’s banning in certain libraries, and whether there will be future installments in the series.
We also learned, repeatedly, that “Fifty Shades” has gotten Sherri Shepherd “hot and bothered.”
