Former “Bachelorette” stars Ali Fedotowsky and Emily Maynard are not happy that there will be two Bachelorettes for Season 11. As Gossip Cop reported, in a shocking twist, Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe will both be vying for love on the show next season. The show’s alums are now sounding off.

Shortly after the announcement, Season 6 “Bachelorette” Fedotowsky tweeted her disappointment, writing, “The more I think about it, I can’t help but be upset about ABC choosing 2 #Bachelorettes. It’s going to be so hurtful to both girls.”

Maynard, from Season 8, said that as a viewer she likes the idea of two women competing on the show, but “as a woman, I kind of hate it.” She added, “What do you all think? I love @brittkarolina and @kaitlynbristowe.”

Season 10 contestant Andi Dorfman initially tweeted that she was “gonna keep my mouth shut,” but later added “I’m just going to be politically incorrect and mean no offense by this but I’m #TeamKaitlyn.”

Desiree Hartsock of Season 9 also said she’s rooting for Bristowe but wrote, “Not going to lie… I’m a bit confused by 2 bachelorettes. Put girls against each other!? Don’t we already get enough of that.” DeAnna Stagliano, from Season 4, didn’t have much to say about the situation except that she doesn’t “envy their position.”

One former “Bachelor” contestant who was extremely vocal about the shakeup was Catherine Lowe. “Excuse me while I shake my head all night,” she tweeted. Her husband, Sean Lowe, added, “Judging by the hundreds of tweets I’m seeing, no one likes this duel bachelorette idea. Also, @clmgiudici thinks it’s disgusting.” What do you think about Bristowe and Nilsson both being featured on the new “Bachelorette”?
