The two new “Bachelorettes,” Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe, appeared on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for a joint interview that was both awkward and hilarious. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, both of “Bachelor” Chris Soules’ exes were announced as the stars of the new “Bachelorette” season on Monday’s “After The Final Rose,” though it’s believed the men hoping to win their affections will actually get to choose which of them takes the full journey. Kimmel wanted to know whose “diabolical idea” it was to make them “battling Bachelorettes,” and the reality stars admitted they have no clue how it’s going to work.
“It’s probably not ideal but we’re handling it well,” said Bristowe, who sarcastically quipped, “It’s not like we have the same taste in guys or anything.” Nilsson offered, “It’s like we won the lottery together. So you have to share it, but it’s still good.”
Kimmel wondered if bunk beds and hot tub threesomes would be involved, and point-blank asked, “Is there any possibility the two of you will make out during the course of this season?” The girls laughed and said, “Oh, Jimmy!” to which he deadpanned, “That’s a yes?” Nilsson went on to joke that if the show doesn’t work out for either of them, they’ll move to Soules’ hometown of Arlington, Iowa together.
