FXX's Man Seeking Woman will continue its search for a second season.
The younger-skewing cable network has renewed the Jay Baruchel comedy from showrunner Simon Rich for a second season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The comedy about a sad sack guy (Undeclared and Goon's Baruchel) in search of love and his sweet and surreal adventures will return for an additional 10 episodes in 2016.
"Working on Man Seeking Woman has been the creative highlight of my life," Rich said. "FXX gave us the freedom to make the show we love and they let us build some truly disgusting monsters. I'm so grateful to John Landgraf and his team for believing in us and I can't wait to get back to work."

Created by Rich and based on his book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth, he executive produces the FX Productions entry alongside Jonathan Krisel, Lorne Michaels and his Broadway Video topper Andrew Singer.
When factoring in seven days of DVR, the first five episodes of Man Seeking Woman is averaging 254,000 total viewers among adults 18-34 and 353,000 among the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 set. The former metric is averaging a 67 percent higher than FXX's primetime average in the demo — the key measure for FX's younger-skewing net. The later demo is up 41 percent than its primetime average to date. The show's median age is 32 — on par with FXX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (30) and The League (31).

Man Seeking Woman joins a roster of originals that also includes the upcoming second season of FX transplant You're the Worst as well as Tracy Morgan's untitled comedy in addition to serving as the cable home for The Simpsons.
