TV Ratings: ‘The Following’ Premiere Drops, ‘Voice’ Holds Steady-ish

'The Following'

During its first night of its second week this season, The Voice held up nicely. The NBC series led all of broadcast with a 3.8 rating among adults 18-49, off just three-tenths of a point from last week's premiere score. The Night Shift (1.4 adults) held steady at 10 p.m.

ABC saw The Bachelor (2.4 adults) fall two-tenths of a point for the Women Tell All episode, making the network No. 2 to NBC for the night.

Over on Fox, The Following returned for its third season with a premiere low: a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers. That's off four-tenths of a point from last year's time slot premiere. It followed Gotham (2.0 adults), which was off three-tenths of a point from last week.

CBS had one lone new entry on Monday, but it was broadcast's highest-rated scripted effort. Mike & Molly, averaging a 2.2 rating with adults 18-49, was also up two-tenths of a point from last week.
