Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are teaming up again on the big screen.
But unlike Crazy, Stupid, Love, this is no rom-com.
In The Gangster Squad, Gosling is recruited to help take down a 1940s Los Angeles mafia boss played by Sean Penn.
Stone’s character gets caught in the crossfire in more ways than one.
The film, which also stars Josh Brolin, will be released October 19.
