Former LMFAO singer Redfoo is headed to "Dancing with the Stars" with his sights set on winning the mirrorball!
The singer (whose real name is Stefan Gordy) and his partner Emma Slater stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday, where he explained to Billy Bush and Kit Hoover why he's competing on the ABC reality show.
"The opportunity came, and I said, 'This could be the biggest challenge of my life and the best experience,'" he said, explaining that he's always loved ballroom dancing and Fred Astaire.

"So far with Emma, it's already started out to be amazing. She's taught me more things in the last three days about myself and the sacred bond between partners and she is – I'm so lucky," he continued.
Emma is psyched about pairing up with the singer.
"People know Redfoo has a lot of swag… he has energy and passion," she said. "[When I found out he was my partner,] I said, 'Wow! This guy is going to be entertaining.' He's my winning card already. I love him. He's great."
Redfoo, who is an avid tennis player, explained that he's ready for the physical demands of "DWTS."
"Physically, I'm going to give 100 percent. Mentally, 100 percent. I will do what it takes to get the mirrorball," he explained. "I'm in it to win it, music is what I do, and I'm always doing it, but this is an experience. This is going to be the biggest challenge."
So who does Redfoo consider his biggest competition in the ballroom?

"I think Rumer [Willis]. The way she walks, she's got a little Latin in her walk. So that's a little concerning and Robert [Herjavec from 'Shark Tank']," Redfoo said.
The new season of "DWTS" kicks off on March 16 at 8 PM on ABC.
