“Criminal Minds” star Nicholas Brendon has announced that he and Moonda Tee, his wife of just four months, have split up. A message posted to Brendon’s Facebook page by his rep states, “I am officially announcing that Nicholas and his wife, Moonda Tee, have parted ways.”
The statement adds, “Nicholas expressed that Moonda is truly a ‘beautiful person’ and that he ‘wishes her the best that life has to offer.’” The rep notes, “We know that there will be rumors and gossip, but we ask that Nick’s privacy be respected during this difficult time. Things like this are never easy.” The message ends, “As always, thank you for your support and your love of all things Nick.”
Brendon and Tee married in Las Vegas in October 2004. She has not commented about the split, but instead posted on Facebook, “HAPPAH FRIDAY THE 13TH, YEW LOVELY HEATHENS!!! Let’s get weird.”
Just two weeks after the couple wed, Brendon was arrested in Boise, Idaho for breaking some property at a hotel while in town for the Tree City Comic Con. A couple of days later he apologized for his “embarrassing and unacceptable” behavior, and explained that he had mixed prescription drugs with alcohol. The former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star noted then that he would seek rehab for his “emotional demons.”
This was the second marriage for Brendon, who was previously married to Tress DiFiglia from 2001-2006. What do you think about Brendon and Tee separating after just four months?
