Vin Diesel sings “My Heart Is Open,” the Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani song, in a new video sure to brighten your Valentine’s Day. The action star posted the clip on Facebook, where it’s already attracted millions of views, because Diesel is America’s favorite karaoke singer. Watch the video below!
It’s a poignant and emotional performance from Diesel, whose eyes are closed for much of the time he serenades the Internet. At the very end he flashes a “heart” symbol with his hands. It’s all very romantic.
Of course, Diesel is no stranger to this kind of thing. Last year, the Fast and Furious star posted a video in which he danced to Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” and Beyonce’s “Drunk In Love.” In 2013, he shared a Valentine’s Day video in which he sang Rihanna’s “Stay” and wished his Facebook fans (then numbering 39 million) a “Happy V Day.” He’s also done Sam Smith’s “Stay with Me.”
As of Friday, Diesel’s Facebook page has topped 90 million likes. We’re going to attribute his huge and rapidly growing fan base to his intermittent, beautiful karaoke performances of pop favorites. Watch the video below, and try not to be moved to tears.
