James Franco To Time-Travel With Stephen King & J.J. Abrams – ARTICLE

Can James Franco save President John F. Kennedy?

Hulu announced on Thursday that the actor will star in "11/22/63," a thriller in which high school English teacher Jake Epping travels back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Saving the President isn't a simple task as Lee Harvey Oswald, Epping's budding love life and the past itself (which doesn't want to be changed!) get in his character's way.

The nine-hour event series is based on Stephen King's best-selling 2011 novel and will be produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions.

No word on when "11/22/63" will debut or if the series could go on to multiple seasons, where audiences could possibly see Franco's character take on other historic events.
